Durham Living Theology Today Enquirers' Evening - 06 September 2010, 7:00 pm

Living Theology Today is an introductory course in theology, whose aim is to encourage those who feel that a deeper understanding of belief and practice would benefit themselves and the church. The course will be of interest to those who wish to increase their appreciation of theological study, whereby reflective exploration of Scripture, tradition, history and theology contribute to growing in understanding and faith. The course will also be of interest to those who are exploring a vocation to representative ministry in the church.  A similar course, Exploring Theology Today, starts in September in North Shields.  It is based on the Living Theology Today course in Durham but has been adjusted to the Newcastle diocese context.

Some comments on the course from previous students include:

“Excellent range of subject matter...no pressure...opportunities opened up for further development and study...”

“Introducing theology in a gentle way...”

“I enjoyed the fellowship, sharing views, and gaining confidence to participate.”

For those interested in joining the Durham LTT course, an Enquirers’ Evening will be held on Monday 6 September 2010 at 7.00pm at St Giles Church Parish Centre, Durham.  (If you would like to join the North Shields ETT course please check out the event on 12 July 2010 and sign up there.)  In the meantime, more information on Living Theology Today can be viewed here.

Please complete the form below if you are interested in being present at this event (no need to complete the dietary requirements - there will just be tea and coffee available).
