Living Theology North East
9 months (October - June)

Type: Non-Accredited

Start Date: October 2016

Living Theology North East (LTNE) is a Lindisfarne RTP study course for Christian disciples.  In 2016/17 it will be held at Cuthbert House, Durham (Tuesdays, 7-9pm) and in the Hexham area (Thursdays, 7-9pm). The venues change each year in order to make the course accessible to people across the region.

Who is it for?
• Any Christian people who wish to learn with others on the Christian journey in a reflective, relaxed way
• All who wish to reflect on God’s purpose for their lives
• Those who can commit to a course from October to June
• Those who wish to lay the foundations for further study in theology and ministry

LTNE explores some big issues such as:
• Who is the God we worship?
• Being a follower of Jesus from the earliest times to the present
• What kind of discipleship is God calling us to today?

LTNE enables participants to:
• Ask searching questions about faith
• Discern what discipleship means to you
• Apply your faith in the workplace and in every aspect of daily life
• Explore collaboratively with other Christians

How much does it cost?
£210 - this covers all elements of the course, including all teaching sessions and the residential weekend (held within the region).  Sometimes Church Councils are able to help with the cost.  All participants are registered to use the Religious  Resources Centre at Cuthbert House, Durham and at Church House, North Shields at no additional cost.
